Stylist in the Making Scholarship

This scholarship will offer the successful candidate $500 for one semester toward the Cosmetology Kit Fee at Eastern Florida State College. If the successful candidate receives another financial aid, then this scholarship will only pay for the Kit Fee. This scholarship should be applied toward the Cosmetology Kit Fee first but will then supplement tuition/books.

The recipient must:

• be a single parent
• be enrolled full-time (maybe less than 12 credit hours)
• enrolled in the Cosmetology Program at EFSC
• have a financial need
• have a minimum 2.5 GPA
• complete the post-acceptance process upon acceptance of the award (instructions will be given to the recipient once awarded)
