John P. Nelson Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship will offer the successful candidate $1,000 for one semester at Eastern Florida State College.

The recipient must:

• be a Brevard County resident
• be enrolled full-time (12 credit hours or more) or Full-time for Program
• be pursuing a degree or certificate at EFSC in Health Sciences
• have a financial need
• have a minimum 2.5 GPA
• be willing to volunteer four hours at United Way of Brevard and should make personal contact with United Way upon notice of receiving the scholarship award
• complete the post-acceptance process upon acceptance of the award (instructions will be given to the recipient once awarded)
