Beverly Stone Haile Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship will offer the successful candidate $1,000 for the academic year ($500 for fall/ $500 for spring)) at Eastern Florida State College
The recipient must:
- be a US Citizen
- be a Brevard County resident
- be enrolled a minimum of 8 hours per semester
- have a minimum GPA of 2.8
- be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business Management, or English or an AS Degree in Office Administration
- be a sophomore or higher
- have financial need
- attend classes on Titusville Campus (preferred)
- be participating in a named community benefit program (community service)
- provide a handwritten thank you note to the Foundation to be passed on to the donor
- Provide an essay, "The importance of the proper use of the English language, grammar, and punctuation. Include a paragraph on who Beverly Stone Haile was and her contributions to the college, formerly known as BCC, not “EFSC.” A copy of the essay will be forwarded to the donor.
