Paul J. Kreuzkamp, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
The successful candidate will receive a full-tuition scholarship, including lab fees, books, required uniforms, and ammunition for one semester at either the Basic Law Enforcement or Basic Corrections Program at Eastern Florida State College.
Books must be purchased at a campus bookstore.
The recipient must:
- have an Associate’s degree (A.A. or A.S.) or Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S., or B.B.A.) from an accredited institution (preference given to students with a Bachelor’s)
- a Brevard County resident
- have a minimum 3.0 GPA
- be enrolled in the EFSC Law Enforcement Academy or EFSC Corrections Academy
- agree to accept employment as a law enforcement officer or corrections officer in Brevard County, Florida, if such a position is extended after completion of the program
- complete a brief essay, " Why I want to become a law enforcement or corrections officer in Brevard County, FL?"
- complete the post-acceptance process upon acceptance of the award (instructions will be given to the recipient once awarded)
